1947: Employers Overload (EO) is founded by R.B. Miller, an industry pioneer.
1951: EO helps set the legal standard for the industry through a ruling received from the U.S. Treasury Department.
1958: EO grows through a nationwide network of branch offices.
1960: EO opens an office in Portland, Oregon.
1969: Peter J. Szambelan joins EO in Portland, Oregon as a branch manager.
1974: Peter J. Szambelan becomes an EO Franchise owner.
1988: R.B. Miller retires, and the Szambelans retain the rights to continue operating as Employers Overload.
1978-2007: EO expands throughout the Pacific Northwest and into the Columbus, Ohio area, including:
